Thanks for the recent donations of coin Banks to the Lodges Cerebral Palsy campaign. The total this time amounted to $53.81.

We are trying to meet the goal of $3.65 a year from every member. So far, because of our donations to state funding, we have sponsored total grants back to The Cincinnati Cerebral Palsy Association of over $9000.00 the last six years. You can obtain and return banks at the Lodge.

The next regularly scheduled meeting will be held on Tuesday, September 14, 2010 at 7:00 PM.
Your attendance will help to support the efforts of the officers and go a long way in keeping you accurately informed as to the activities and condition of the Lodge.

The Elks National Foundation funds numerous charities and special priorities such as drug awareness, hoop shoot, scholarships, disaster relief, veteran remembrance and much more. A donation $10.00 a year is requested by each member. Your donation not only aids these programs but assist our Lodge in meeting our per capita goal.
All contributions to the foundation are deductible for federal income tax purposes and are voluntary.

Now is the time to sign up those acquaintances who want to join the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks. As you are aware it takes approximately two months to go through the entire process.
